Uptime monitoring for UK teams
Uptime Dog is built and run by Making Stuffs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Plans are priced in pounds, invoices come with VAT handled for you, and the product speaks British English.
Prices in pounds, with no exchange rate surprises
Most monitoring tools are priced in US dollars, so a UK team's bill moves with the exchange rate and card fees. Uptime Dog is priced in pounds sterling:
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly | Monitors |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | £0 | £0 | 20 |
| Essentials | £9 | £90 | 50 |
| Pro | £29 | £290 | 200 |
| Business | £79 | £790 | 1,000 |
Paying yearly gets you 2 months free. You can switch plan, move between monthly and yearly, or cancel from the app at any time, and upgrades and downgrades are prorated. The full list of what each plan includes is on the pricing table.
VAT invoices handled by Paddle
Paid plans are sold through Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record. Paddle takes the payment, charges VAT where it applies and issues the invoice, so your finance team gets a proper VAT invoice for every payment without anyone at your end chasing one. Card details go to Paddle, never to us.
A UK company you can reach
Uptime Dog is a product of Making Stuffs Ltd, registered in England and Wales with company number 14615742. Our registered office is Unit A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Suffolk, IP28 7DE. Questions about the product, billing or anything else go to uptimedog@makingstuffs.com, and are answered by the people who build it.
Our terms, privacy policy and refund policy are written in plain English. The privacy policy explains what we store, why, who else sees it and how long we keep it; our hosting provider runs our servers in the EU or UK.
Written in British English
The app shows dates as 18 Oct 2026, not Oct 18, 2026, and times on the 24-hour clock. Phone numbers for SMS and call alerts are entered in international format, so a UK mobile is +447700900123. Small things, but they add up when the product is open on your screen during an incident.
What you get
- Monitoring of websites, APIs, keywords, SSL certificates, TCP ports, ping, DNS, cron jobs, servers and browser journeys, as often as every 20 seconds.
- Confirmed failures, checked again before anyone is alerted, so a blip doesn't wake you up.
- Status pages on your own domain, with email subscribers and 90 days of history.
- On-call rotations and escalation policies, with SMS and phone calls to UK numbers included in paid plans.
- Alerts by email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Google Chat, Telegram, webhooks, PagerDuty and Opsgenie.
- Logs and an AI assistant that uses your own provider key.
